Cast lead, copper, irrigation system
The first of my ventures into installations involving water, a material to which I continue to return. Here, water drops slowly drip into miniature buckets cast in lead with copper handles, suspended on thin copper thread. As the buckets fill, the droplets splash out around the space, slowly flooding the area.The installation has been presented several times, each in a different location, and here, it is documented in a derelict basement.
