This sculpture is the latest development in an ongoing wrestle with various components, and the eventual abandoning of others such as a mannequin leg, various safety helmets, a playstation skateboard deck, and many other larger scale objects. The arms survive from other manifestations and forms, finally coming together in the stranger thing, an off world, heavily armed, mutated cop chase gone wrong. I am at an intersection between sci-fi, psychedelic distortion and Who Framed Roger Rabbit here, where Philip K Dick fights it out on the drawing board with Robert Crumb and Robert Zemeckis.
