This work is the first of a series concerned with developing an abstract narrative from the forms revealed from the dismantling of the objects selected. The Canon Pixma inkjet printer revealed an extraordinary amount of fascinating plastic components, all of which reformed into the work. Resisting as much as possible to compose literal references to familiar narratives, yet at the same time creating rules and strategies for making.
'Non Pax Mica' is an anagram translating to 'Not a Speck of Peace'.
