The Wormington shotgun shells were collected on several separate walks, in a smaller wooded area in The Cotswolds. The first walk found a lot of the more common green shells with a scattering of others. The subsequent explorations, undertaken by Cornwall discovered a greater variety of shell types, found much deeper in the wood, often in groups or piles.
As of 2020 this work has been reframed without glass and the shells fixed with epoxy resin, making for a more tactile feel and showing the true range of colour.
