On the western edge of the waters at Royal Victoria Dock there is an actual shoreline, possibly where a slipway once existed, and the area is easily accessed. Although this is a very short stretch, there is a lot of smaller scale debris deposited, among which is a lot of cotton bud straws, though Im not quite sure as to how they are getting there. Are they being fired into the dock, blown in there or is there a more sinister force at work?
This small collection from a single visit preempts another much larger work that will consist of another five visits to the same site.
